aNcienTs words that are true . . .

Train up children in the waY they should gRoW!
When then grow, they won't depart from that waY!

Let the young learn to grow from the old,
Let the old learn to grow from the aged,
Let the aged tell the ancients, "we showed the young and the old the waY. . ."

To instruct, teach and counsel is the nature of a mentoring,
ancients words lonG preserved for a prosperous walk in this life resounds in
the mouth of trusted counsellors.
Its our duty to pass down these ancient words to our children that they

tHe nEEd of

As we live everyday, orphan children live each day alone without the support and protection of parents or the love of a family environment.

As the orphans grow up in this environment they add to the crumbling family values because they have never learned parenting skills from their own mothers or fathers. They will find it difficult to be parents themselves.

The long-term repercussions of huge populations of orphans in our country will cause the very fabric of society to disappear and vast socio-economic devastation.

Children who are raising themselves will not go through the normal healthy development process but will lack food, shelter, education, nurturing, and health care.

In addition, most of the orphans live where the typical family faces poverty, malnutrition, as well as lack of safe water, sanitation, and basic health and education services.

The reasons why children continue to suffer are complex and include poverty, GREED, discrimination, lack of education, gross inequality and war. In addition, the nature of children, their age and often their dependence on adults make them especially vulnerable to abuse and exploitation.

These children are left especially defenseless. With few resources or laws in place that will protect their interests they are often left to fend for themselves. Older children become the caregivers of younger siblings, forcing them from their schooling and keeping them from a promising future.

UNICEF estimates the number of orphans at 210 million in the world today. 86 million orphans in India 44 million orphans in Africa by 2010 10 million orphans in Mexico 35,000 children die everyday from hunger and malnutrition

This is why we nEEd menTors that would raise orphans and show them the promising future ahead.

This why we your nEEd LOVE.

some ONE

LoKa wakes up and he strolls to the bathroom reluctantly to find his toothbrush he knows won't change unless a miracle takes place. He brushes and doesn't care to look at the mirror because there's no one there...so he thinks.

Loka doesn't need to guess what he's about to inhale cos he's being doing that for since he started growing his milk teeth. It's breakfast, same old baked bread for him and the other kids at HOME (orphanage)

Loka continues from where he stopped yesterday before falling asleep, yes he remembers without showing emotions. WHY ?

Why do i feel this way?
Why am i sad?
Is every like me ?
What is going to happen tomorrow and the next and the next.........(continues)?
Is there no ONE to give me answers?

Loka is convinced from within that there's really some ONE out there who can give him answers, some ONE that can change his brush, some one that can make him see himself in the mirror and smile.

Just some ONE that he can't wait to see on weekends !
It's time for lunch, Loka is interrupted.

YOU COULD be a some ONE to loka.

[Loka stands for all the lonely orphans in nigeria still clinging unto the strand of hope God has given them to wait patiently till YOU happen to them]

Pls remember the orphans closest to you today.
Visit LINKACHILD.ORG to find out the closest orphanage near you.

leave it 4 the orphans

This is what you must do when you're harvesting wheat in your field. If you forget to bring in one of the bundles of wheat, don't go back to get it.
Leave it there for foreigners, orphans, and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in everything you do.
Deu 24:20 When you harvest olives from your trees, never knock down all of them. Leave some for foreigners, orphans, and widows.
Deu 24:21 When you pick the grapes in your vineyard, don't pick all of them. Leave some for foreigners, orphans, and widows.
Deu 24:22 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt. So I'm commanding you to do this.
[It's amaazing when you find yourself in the field of the Fatherless,
While helping (as well as doing what tickles the heart of the Father),
There's a peace you explain but experience.]

Bernard speaks (Genocide survivor)

I don't have any photos of my family.
I couldn't find any souvenirs of my parents or my brothers and sisters.
I like volley ball and films.
These two things give courage.
I also like to read autobiography books about people who have suffered in their lives.
It is a consolation to me.
Prayer is also important to me.

2 kinds

2 kinds of selves

2 kinds of people;
- those that think about them selves first and always-

- those that think about others and their state

Summarily we have Selfish people & Selfless people
the latter is making the world a better place for others with hope and a futurethe former, well you can guess . .. . .

GIVING is how we can change the world of others and it is the true expression of love (i believe)

Act TODAY.....tomorrow might be late
